Passei-o

“The contemporary imaginary has as ideal the time-zero. It is a tyranny of the speed, like a flattened time. The tendency is the impression that we all live in a continuous instant.

To pause is the operation of suspending time before doing or saying, it is a brief moment before something happens; it is to be held longer than the indicated time value.

The pause takes us momentarily apart from the conventional time regime. It modifies the perception of pre-existing structures or foundations of representative thoughts. It is an attempt to project the capacity for recreation of value systems that would escape the moral, psychological
and social lamination of capitalist valorization.

The focus here is the potential to rethink the environment surrounding us in order to release consciousness.

Checkmate!”

Fernisering:
Lørdag den 21. april 2007, kl. 14 – 19

Bemærk venligst at udstillingen kun er åben én dag.
Håber at se dig til ferniseringen!

Med venlig hilsen,
Heidi Hove Pedersen
